The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) has officially announced that active members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) are fully eligible to apply for its current recruitment initiative.
This information was conveyed in a concise statement through the agency's official X account on Friday evening.
FIRS clarified that corps members who are scheduled to complete their service before December 31, 2024, are invited to submit applications.
The deadline for application submissions is set for November 14, 2024.
“Serving corps members who are anticipated to conclude their service before December 31, 2024, may apply.
“Additionally, membership in the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) will be considered an asset for prospective candidates.
“Applications will close on November 14, 2024,” FIRS stated.
The disclosure coincides with the recent launching of the Federal Inland Revenue Service's (FIRS) nationwide recruitment exercise for tax officers.
