The Republican 2024 Election presidential candidate, Donald Trump, has once again raised unrealistic expectations regarding the vote count for the forthcoming election, asserting the necessity for a result to be available on election night.
“We desire the answer tonight,” the 78-year-old stated during his final rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan, a pivotal swing state.
In the lead-up to the election, Trump has already exacerbated concerns by disseminating unverified claims of electoral fraud.
He is competing against Democrat Kamala Harris, and the race is anticipated to be closely contested.
It remains uncertain whether the election results will be finalized within hours of the conclusion of voting, particularly given the potential delays caused by absentee ballots in certain states.
It is worth recalling that following the 2020 presidential election, Trump prematurely declared himself the winner on election night and called for a cessation of the vote count when he was momentarily leading against Joe Biden.
