"We have come all together to remind ourselves of the essence of continually being together.
" The denominational varieties we all belong to must continue to be our strength. It must never divide us. Call it dogma, call it teaching, any form of name you want to give it , should rather bring us together".
The Governor also called on the Christian body in the North-Central to believe in the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and continue to give him the necessary support he needs to make Nigeria truly a great nation, adding that all that he had achieved in Benue so far was through the instrumentality and support from President Tinubu.
"I was fully convinced that Tinubu was the way to go, and I said no, we have to do this.
"People were looking at the Muslim/Muslim ticket. I was not looking at the religious aspect of it. I was looking at the personality; I was looking at the capacity; I was looking at the precedents that were set well before this time". The Governor added.
He charged the people to remain in sync with development and be a symbol of hope for all people.
"We must be in sync with development, with growth, with unity, and cohesion. We must be a symbol of hope".
